The DG67-00001B is a genuine OEM upper oven convection fan blade used on select Samsung (and Samsung-built Dacor) ranges/ovens. The blade mounts to the convection fan motor shaft behind the rear oven panel and circulates hot air for more even baking/roasting and faster heat transfer in convection modes. Failures are typically mechanical: blade bent from impact during service, stripped hub, loose mounting causing vibration, cracked metal fatigue, or blade-to-shroud contact caused by a warped rear cover or a fan motor with bearing play. Symptoms: rattling/whirring only in convection, scraping behind the rear cover, uneven convection results, reduced airflow, or fan speed errors (model dependent). IMPORTANT: Confirm this is the upper fan blade (some models also use a different lower blade). CRITICAL: Turn off the breaker (240V) before servicing.
