W11354542 Washer Stator (Motor Stator, Stator Assembly, Drive Motor Stator)
W11354542 Washer Stator by XPart Supply Ltd.
The W11354542 is a genuine OEM Whirlpool-family direct-drive motor stator assembly used on many top-load washers. The stator is the stationary coil pack mounted under the tub; it works with the rotor to create a rotating magnetic field that drives the basket/tub for wash agitation and high-speed spin. When the stator fails (open/shorted windings, heat damage, moisture intrusion, or harness/connector overheating), the washer may not agitate, may not spin, may stop mid-cycle, or may throw motor/drive-related error codes (model dependent). Symptoms include a loud hum with no movement, weak/intermittent spin, burning smell from the motor area, repeated “motor” faults, or the unit filling/draining but failing when it should move. IMPORTANT: Many stator failures are secondary to a failing harness connector, rotor damage, or water intrusion from a tub seal leak—inspect root cause before installing the new stator. CRITICAL: Unplug washer before servicing; this is a heavy under-unit repair.
