WS01F01164 Range Dual Radiant Surface Element, 12" (Dual Haliant Element, Dual Radiant Burner, 12" Radiant Element)

WS01F01164 12" Dual Radiant Surface Element

The WS01F01164 is a genuine OEM GE-family 12" dual radiant (dual-zone) surface element for smooth-top electric ranges. It uses two heating circuits (inner/outer) so the control can run a smaller inner ring for standard pans or energize the full 12" element for large cookware. This part replaces WB30T10130, WB44M00937, WG02F04089, WS01F06241. Typical failures include an open heating circuit (no heat), partial failure where only inner or outer ring works, hot spots/uneven heating from broken radiant ribbon, overheating from poor contact to the glass, or heat-damaged terminals/receptacle. Symptoms: burner won’t heat, only one ring works, weak heat, cycling oddly, visible scorching under glass, or arcing/burning smell at the element terminals. IMPORTANT: Many “element” issues are actually a failed infinite switch/relay board, bad receptacle, or broken limiter sensor/rod (if used on that platform). CRITICAL: Kill power at the breaker (240V) before servicing.
