GE Dryer Lint Filter Slide - Genuine OEM WW02L00754
WW02L00754 GE Dryer Lint Filter Slide – Fix Your Lint Filter That Won't Slide Out, Is Stuck, or Has Broken Tracks
The essential fix for a GE dryer with a lint filter that won't slide out smoothly, gets stuck when you try to remove it, has broken or cracked slide tracks, or falls out of the housing.
The lint filter slide is the plastic track assembly that the lint filter screen slides in and out of. It guides the filter for easy removal and installation, and holds it securely in place during dryer operation. The slide includes the track rails and mounting brackets that attach to the dryer cabinet.
Common symptoms: lint filter won't slide out smoothly, filter gets stuck or jammed, broken or cracked slide tracks, filter falls out of housing, difficulty removing or inserting filter, filter wobbles or doesn't sit flush.
Why it fails: Over 8–12 years of use, the plastic tracks crack from heat stress and repeated filter removal, the rails break from forcing a stuck filter, or the mounting tabs snap off. When the slide fails, removing the filter becomes difficult or impossible — and if you can't clean the filter regularly, lint buildup creates a serious fire hazard.
How to diagnose: Try sliding the lint filter in and out. If it sticks, binds, or won't move smoothly, or if you see cracks or breaks in the plastic slide tracks, this replacement slide will restore smooth operation.
Replaces: WW02L00617, WE1M406
Compatible with: GE and Hotpoint dryers.
Installation: Moderate 20–30 minute DIY repair. Remove old slide assembly and install new one.
IMPORTANT: This is a genuine OEM GE part. Always disconnect power before servicing. Clean lint buildup from housing before installing new slide.
